Once in a while we catch a break and the weather conditions are perfect to take the honey off the hives on precisely the date known as the Harvest Moon and Harvest Gold. So, it is an Autumn Gold Honey harvested on the date of the harvest moon.
This honey is often slightly darker than Autumn Gold, more of a Dark Amber colour with the same rich flavours and the added complexities and smooth taste of late blooming flowers such as goldenrod and sunflowers. This is a very popular honey for baking and sauces - anything that benefits from the boost of the pure honey taste!
